Monday afternoon Texas City Police received a 911 call of shots being fired at #19 20th Street South at the Freshour Gun Shop. The caller reported that Anne LaFleur, 53, had fired a single shot at him and missed.

The Texas City Police Hostage Negotiation Team was called out and made contact with Anne LeFleur in her bedroom. The Hostage Negotiator spoke to herfrom the hallway leading to the bedroom. After about 20 minutes of negotiating she came out of her bedroom and was taken into custody without incident.
Ann Louise LaFleur was booked into jail on charges of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by convicted Felon and Deadly Conduct. Bonds total $120,000.
Stanton did not say if LaFleur gave a motive for shooting at the caller nor did he identify the caller who was shot at.
