September 14 @ 7:05 am - There were several downed poles, but not as many as you would expect there to be to take over month to restore power. Oh wait, the City of Galveston helpped with slowing things down by first making the power companies check to see who the property owner had for their power supplier, then having the power supplier contact the property owner to have them hire an electrician to inspect Circuit breakers, outlets, weatherhead, etc. before power could be restored, then having the electrician call the City of Galveston and then the City of Galveston would contact the Power company to turn it back on. You know how expeditious the City of Galveston is... right ??
